There are some places I love that I was shocked didn’t make the list. For restaurants with more than one location, they are combined and ranked where the highest rated location was. I took the top 20 highest-rated restaurants from the search “taco”. The rankings come from the review site Yelp and are based on the “highest rated” feature. My first step in this journey? To consult Yelp. I have now set out on a mission to determine the best taco restaurants in Charlotte. But how do you know which one to try? It can be tough to decide! So, if Friday isn’t good for your schedule choose Saturday. Then, what about Saturday, May 6? Well, the party continues. But, make sure you take a look at the event sign up for all the details. Also, the site stresses it’s a “strict no refund” policy. But, suffice it to say you’ll enjoy some of the most popular spots from Uptown to South End. So, where does it all take place? Well, once you purchase your event ticket the website indicates details are emailed to participants. Plus, you can enjoy music and even a DJ during the celebration. There’s opportunities for free shots, t-shirts and tacos at certain locations along the route. What You GetĪnd, with a purchase of event tickets bar crawl participants receive several perks. So, if you consider yourself brave enough it’s worth investigating. And, I happened to see a mention of a “tequila challenge” on their website. So, the bar crawl lets you sample margaritas, cocktails, tequila and delicious food all along the route. The Queen City has such an active bar scene it’s hard to choose just one. is basically the one-stop shop for everything Cinco De Mayo in Charlotte. ![]()
